Hi, I'm Piera, founder of Lanza-VA.
My journey to business efficiency has been anything but typical.
From a career in admin and IT to managing a 32-acre livery yard to helping entrepreneurs organise their businesses, I’ve seen first-hand that success comes from working with your natural style - not forcing yourself into systems that don’t fit.
During the pandemic, I transformed my administrative expertise into virtual assistance. What I found was eye-opening: many entrepreneurs, especially those with big ideas and fast-moving minds, were not just overwhelmed - they were stuck in systems that didn’t work for them.
Now, I don’t just help people tick off tasks - I help them reset, streamline and create workflows that actually make sense.

My approach comes from a simple truth I learned while rescuing and rehabilitating animals (including a memorable Muntjac deer!): you cannot force a one-size-fits-all solution.
Each individual - whether human or animal - needs space to work in their own way. (Just ask Leo, my 14-year-old dog, who has perfected his own approach to efficiency: maximum naps, minimal effort.)
Today, I bring this same philosophy to business efficiency consulting, helping entrepreneurs cut through overwhelm and move forward with confidence. And yes, Leo still keeps me company, making the occasional cameo in virtual meetings!

What my ADHD training means for you.
I completed my ADHD training with Max Lawrence, a seasoned ADHD coach, business mentor and entrepreneur with ADHD himself, in November 2023.
Max’s training provides virtual assistants with tailored tools and insights to work effectively with ADHD clients. Through this certification, I gained an in-depth understanding of ADHD-specific challenges - from managing time blindness to overcoming overwhelm - along with practical strategies for task delegation and routine-building.
With this background, I’m able to create a supportive environment that helps entrepreneurs focus on what they’re passionate about while I handle the admin that can feel overwhelming.
