I work with adults with ADHD – business owners, people managing households, people trying to keep on top of both. Some have known for years, others are newly diagnosed and still working out what it means in practice.

Hi, I'm Piera
IT helpdesk means triage at pace. Someone's problem lands on your desk and you work out what's not working then fix it without crashing everything else.
Office/project management is the same logic but slower. You keep the operational infrastructure of a business running smoothly enough that nobody notices it's there.
I ran the equestrian yard after those corporate roles. A yard works the same way except the animals don't care what's on your list and a missed task doesn't wait.
None of those jobs run on neat schedules or linear thinking. That's not a bad place to start when your clients' brains don't either.
Before Lanza-VA I spent nearly thirty years across IT helpdesks, office/project management and running an equestrian yard. None of those environments had tidy systems.
My Background
What I don't Do
I don’t arrive with a solution already in mind. Most systems are designed for straight-line thinkers – my clients don’t think that way.
I find out what’s going on first. The problem usually looks one way on the surface and turns out to be something slightly different underneath. For example:
One client needed a transcription app to avoid losing scribbled notes

ADHD-Aware & Certified
ADHD-aware and certified, with training from coach Max Lawrence. Every recommendation I make accounts for the way an ADHD brain actually moves through the day, including the hyperfocus, the task-switching and the things that tend to slip.

Another needed body doubling to provide accountability and keep her focussed on the task
A third needed an automated process to turn a messy Word document into a formatted spreadsheet
And most clients need ongoing support because the problem wasn’t a single task, it was keeping up with everything over time
Whatever form of help I bring, the starting point is always the same: find out what’s actually going on.
The work takes different shapes. Some clients need regular, practical support – someone to handle what they can’t face or don’t have time for so they can get on with everything else. Others need one focused session, or a proper look at how everything is running with a written plan to come out of it.
What I do
If you’ve spent years thinking you were the problem, you weren’t. It was just the setup.
